HyperOS 3 Eligible Devices: How to Check the Official Rollout for Your Model

HyperOS 3 eligibility depends on your exact model and purchased region, not just on the brand. A device is eligible only when Xiaomi lists it for your region on c.mi.com or mi.com support pages. Leaked lists that mix Global and India models, or that copy a previous HyperOS 2 list, are not a source — we mark those models as pending confirmation rather than listing them as eligible. This guide shows how to check safely without downloading a ROM or changing region, and it defaults to needs verification when an official list cannot be verified.

What does not work is trusting a video thumbnail that claims “all Redmi phones get it” or switching region to Global to see a different list. Region switching does not make an ineligible device eligible and can hide the correct OTA for your purchased region. Use the steps below for every model you check, whether Xiaomi 14, POCO F6 or Redmi Note 13 Pro.

Why official lists matter more than leaked lists

Xiaomi publishes HyperOS eligibility per model and per region because the same model number can ship with different modem and dialer configurations in Global, EEA and India. A Global list that shows POCO F6 as eligible does not mean the India POCO F6 with an INXM build is eligible on the same date. The India build must be published separately on c.mi.com/in. Leaked lists often copy the Global list and present it as India-eligible, which is why devices on those lists sometimes never receive the OTA they expected.

The official pages also show the rollout stage. Even an eligible device does not receive the OTA on day one — Xiaomi enables batches of about 10 to 20 percent per day per model. Two identical Redmi Note 13 Pro phones in India can receive HyperOS 3 a week apart. This staged timing is not shown in a leaked image, which is why it looks like the list is wrong when it is simply incomplete.

A common misunderstanding is that “eligible” means “already rolling.” Eligibility is a statement that the device will receive HyperOS 3 in the rollout window for its region, not that the OTA is immediately available for your IMEI batch. Check eligibility first, then check batch status via the Updater.

Steps to check if your model is eligible

Use only the on-device build number and the official community pages. No manual ROM check is needed.

Confirm your exact model and region before you compare with any list. This avoids matching a similar model name that has a different rollout, such as Redmi Note 13 vs Redmi Note 13 Pro.

1. Open Settings → About phone and note Model and OS version build suffix. India shows INXM, Global shows MIXM, EEA shows EUXM. Stay on the region where you bought the phone.

2. Open c.mi.com/global/board/59 for Global/EEA or c.mi.com/in/board/59 for India and look for the HyperOS 3 eligible or rollout post for your region. Only a post that lists your exact model for your region counts as confirmed. If your model is not listed there, treat it as pending confirmation — do not list it as eligible in your own notes.

3. If the post lists your model as confirmed, note whether it says Rolling or Pending rollout. Rolling means batches have started; pending means the list is confirmed but OTAs have not started for that model in that region.

4. For a single-model check, also open https://www.mi.com/global/support/, search your model, and see if the support page lists HyperOS 3 under OS. The support page mirrors the community post but is sometimes updated later — both are official, but the community post is usually first.

If your device is on a leaked list but not the official one

If a video or image claims your Redmi model is eligible but the official post does not, keep the official status as pending. Do not download a ROM or change region to force eligibility — those builds are region-mismatched and can require a later factory reset to correct.

• Leaked list shows India device, official does not. Keep India status as pending. India eligibility is published separately on c.mi.com/in; a Global eligible flag does not transfer.

• Same model, different suffix. Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 Pro are different lists. Confirm the exact model number in Settings → About phone → Model, not just the family name.

• POCO vs Redmi naming. POCO F6 and Redmi Note 13 Pro share a platform but have separate rollout entries. Eligibility for one does not imply the other in the same week.

Device and version differences

Eligibility and rollout for HyperOS 3 differ by model and region. The table shows the only confirmed distinctions for the models we track most often.

HyperOS 3 eligibility is per model per region. A device eligible in Global may still be pending in India, and HyperOS 3 on a model does not imply immediate HyperOS 3.1 on Android 16.

Inside HyperOS, the check remains Settings → About phone → System update → Check for updates. Tap it twice with 30 seconds between taps to force a fresh query on Wi-Fi with at least 6 GB free. If nothing appears and you are not yet on a confirmed list, waiting is the correct next step.
