What we publish

Fixes, feature explainers, update preparation, customization with official settings, battery/performance tuning, privacy & ads guidance, and per-device setup checklists.

What we never publish

• Fake comments, ratings, download counts or “official” badges
• Unverified update timelines presented as live data
• Links to unofficial APK/ROM/theme hosts
• Instructions that require paid tools or bypass Xiaomi account verification

Testing & sources

Every guide lists deviceFamilies, hyperosVersions and region where the step was confirmed. Sources link to Xiaomi, Google or Android documentation. We show a VersionNotice and a stale-data banner if verification is older than 6 months.

Destructive steps

Steps that can erase data, reset a device, unlock a bootloader or change region show an explicit warning at the top with safer alternatives first. We never encourage unlocking without explaining warranty and data risks.

Corrections & updates

Each article shows Published and Updated dates. Corrections are noted inline and timestamped. Draft articles are excluded from build.

Funding

HyperOS Guides has no paid placements at launch. If sponsorship or affiliate links are ever added, they will be disclosed at the top of the affected guide and in this policy before publishing.
